Amenities
Living Spaces
At Villa Cetinale, living unfolds on a truly Baroque scale. Grand reception halls, frescoed salons, and symmetrical gathering rooms reflect the villa’s 17th-century origins, originally commissioned for Pope Alexander VII. High ceilings, marble floors, antique furnishings, and curated artworks create an atmosphere of noble restraint rather than excess. Formal drawing rooms open onto terraces and axial garden views, while more intimate sitting rooms allow for quieter conversation and retreat.
Bedrooms & Laundry
The villa accommodates up to 24 guests across 12 elegant en suite bedrooms. Each suite is individually styled, blending period architecture with understated Tuscan comfort. Many rooms overlook the formal gardens or rolling countryside beyond. Professional housekeeping is included, with full laundry services managed discreetly by the estate team to support extended stays, weddings, and larger gatherings.
Kitchen & Dining
A fully equipped professional kitchen supports private chef service and event catering. Formal dining takes place in a magnificent dining hall suited to candlelit dinners and celebratory feasts, while outdoor terraces allow for long Tuscan lunches beneath open skies. The estate’s scale makes it particularly suited to weddings and milestone gatherings, with catering seamlessly integrated into the historic layout.
Bathrooms
All 12 bedrooms feature private en suite marble bathrooms. Finishes are classical and elegant, with generous proportions, walk-in showers, and select bathtubs. The bathrooms reflect the villa’s heritage while ensuring modern comfort.
Entertainment
Beyond the interiors, the estate encourages slow, traditional Italian living. A private tennis court sits within the grounds, and a game room offers relaxed indoor leisure. The true entertainment, however, lies in the gardens themselves, long cypress avenues, hidden statues, woodland chapels, and sculpted terraces that invite exploration and quiet discovery.
Heating & Cooling
The villa benefits from heating suitable for spring and autumn stays. Thick historic walls naturally regulate interior temperatures during warmer months, preserving comfort even in the Tuscan summer. Portable climate solutions may be arranged if required for specific guest needs.
Internet & Office
High-speed WiFi is available throughout the main villa. Several quieter salons and study areas can be used for remote work or private meetings, though the atmosphere encourages disconnection and immersion in Tuscan life.
