Four dramatic thatched roof guest ranchos are arranged across lush tropical grounds just steps from the ocean. Each rancho is a striking two storey structure featuring expansive terraces and open air living spaces that face directly towards the sea, allowing the sound of waves and ocean breezes to shape the rhythm of daily life.

Velas Peninsula Estate is designed for relaxed indoor outdoor living with multiple open air lounge spaces overlooking tropical gardens and the Pacific Ocean. Each guest rancho features a shaded terrace lounge facing the beach, creating peaceful spaces to relax, read, or gather for sunset drinks while surrounded by the sounds of nature.
Bedrooms & Laundry
The estate accommodates up to sixteen guests across four private guest ranchos, each containing two bedrooms arranged across two floors. Ground floor master suites include king beds, comfortable sitting areas, dressing rooms, and spacious bathrooms featuring both indoor and outdoor showers. Upstairs bedrooms can be configured with either two twin beds or a king bed, offering flexible arrangements for families or groups travelling together. Daily housekeeping and laundry services are provided by the estate’s dedicated staff.
Kitchen & Dining
Meals are prepared by the estate’s private chef using fresh Costa Rican ingredients and locally sourced seafood. Dining is typically enjoyed in open air settings overlooking the gardens or coastline, with menus tailored to guest preferences. All meals and non alcoholic beverages are included as part of the stay.

Home Policies
Velas Peninsula Estate is rented exclusively for private use accommodating up to sixteen guests.
The rental includes full staff service including chef, concierge, naturalist guide, housekeeping team, and ranch staff. Meals, non alcoholic beverages, guided activities, water sports equipment, and horseback riding are included.
A refundable security deposit is required prior to arrival and minimum stay requirements may apply depending on the season.
Location & Getting Around
The estate is located in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province just north of Tamarindo. Guests typically arrive via Liberia International Airport which is approximately one hour from the property. Airport greeting and escort to the estate can be arranged through the villa team.

Maximum occupancy must not exceed sixteen guests unless agreed in advance.
Guests are asked to respect the surrounding wildlife, ranch environment, and coastal ecosystem during their stay.
