- 17 bedrooms
- 20-25 beds
- 17 bathrooms
Hidden deep within the wilderness of the Adirondack Mountains, Lake Kora is one of America’s most storied private estates. Spanning 1,000 acres of forest, water, and complete seclusion, this historic Great Camp offers a rare opportunity to experience refined wilderness living on an extraordinary scale.
The main lodge and surrounding cabins overlook the largest of the camp’s three private lakes, where the only sounds are wind through pine trees, the gentle rhythm of water against the dock, and the distant call of loons at dusk. The Main Lodge, charmingly asymmetrical in classic Adirondack style, houses guest bedrooms, a formal dining room, a library, and a game room. Additional accommodation is thoughtfully dispersed across the estate, including the Boathouse, a private island cabin, a secluded Gardener’s Cottage, and two smaller lakeside cabins. In total, the camp accommodates up to 35 guests, each bedroom complete with a fireplace and en suite bathroom.
